Terence’s Practice
Terence joined chambers as a pupil in July 2016. He completed his First-Six under the guidance of Miss Farah Ramzan and successfully completed his Second-Six under the supervision of Mr Eugene MacLaughlin. Having successfully completed pupillage he became a tenant of Holborn Chambers in April 2017.
During this time Terence has established solid relations with many firms of instructing solicitors and regularly appears in the Magistrates’ Courts, Youth Courts and the Crown Court. Terence is regularly instructed by the Crown Prosecution Service in the Magistrates’ and Youth Courts.
Background
Terence was employed for over twenty years in what is now Her Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service. During this time Terence developed a thorough insight and understanding of the Criminal Justice System and its agencies as well as forming a wealth of contacts, friendships and professional relationships within the agencies.
Terence studied part-time for both the LLB and Bar Vocational Course, completing his degree at the University of East London and the Bar Vocational Course at the College (now University) of Law.
Terence was granted a four-month reduction in his pupillage by the Bar Standards Board due to his experience and the knowledge that he gained whilst working for Her Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service.
