Formally a solicitor Edward has been a Solicitor Advocate since 2009 appearing in the criminal courts, and transferred to the bar in 2018.
He qualified as a solicitor in 2002.
He has been a defence advocate in all types of criminal cases, and has been a junior counsel in murder cases.
The types of cases he has been involved in are assaults of all types, drug dealing, sexual offences including historic child sexual offences, fraud, kidnapping and public order matters.
He also has experience of case preparation and police station work and understands the work of solicitors.
He has also undertaken cases in motoring law, licensing law, and prison law including parole hearings.
